Trademark Registration Requirements in Chile

In order to register a trademark in Chile you need to provide:

1. Trademark Information

   1. Trademark name (it could be a text name or a logo)
   2. Classes (there are 45 possible classes)
   3. Description of products and services (within each class you must specify your products and services)
   4. Whether the trademark includes a logotype
   5. User Information: details of the administrative contact (this is the person where all comunication will arrive)
   6. Owner Information: details of the individual or company that holds the Trademark

2. Power of Attorney

   After you request the Chilean Trademark Registration, we will send you a Power of Attorney document which you should complete and send back to us. The document should be certified and legalized at the Chilean Consulate.

   The Power of Attorney is needed so we can represent you before the Chilean Trademark Office (INAPI).
