Copyright Requirements
The copyright protection could be obtained by a company or by a person.

If the author is the owner:
- Certified and Notarized copies of the ID of the owner and author
- Power of attorney (certified and legalized at the Chilean Consulate, to be filed within 30 days)
- Copies of the signed work. If it is a book, all the pages must be signed

If the owner is different than the author:
- Certified and Notarized copies of the ID of the owner and author
- Power of Attorney signed by the owner (certified and legalized at the Chilean Consulate, to be filed within 30 days)
- Copies of the signed work. If it is a book, all the pages need to be signed.
- Assignment document

If the owner is a company:
- Certified and Notarized copies of the ID of the owner and author
- Copies of the signed work. If it is a book, all the pages need to be signed.
- Assignment document
- Copy of the Company Incorporation Document
- Power of Attorney (certified and legalized at the Chilean Consulate, to be filed within 30 days)

If the Author is a foreign resident:
- Certified passport copy or document from agent in Chile
- The documentation should be certified translation in Spanish
- The work to be copyrighted could be presented in the original language
In all cases, please be sure to include the following:

Information
- Name and address of the creator. If it is a Company, place of incorporation.
- Name, address and citizenship of the creator.
- Copyright Description.
- Drawings if necessary.

- Logomark Registration: 4 copies of the work, 2 in color, 2 in black and white 15x15cm, signed by the author
- Book registration, catalogues, magazines, etc.
- Published work: 3 copies with the name of the author with all the pages numbered and signed by the author.
- For work not published: 2 copies with the name of the author with numbered pages and signed by the author.
